Founded in 1971, Suokone’s successful work began with a two-disk trench cutter invented by Reino Merileinen. Devoid of bias development has made the company a pioneer in their field.
In the 1990s, a new revolutionary product was introduced, the MeriCrusher mill. The multifunction machine has opened the Suokone company access to world markets. Today, Suokone equipment operates on all continents, and the company regularly supplies its products to 20 countries. Suokone, whose products are highly valued throughout the country, received many inventive and entrepreneurial prizes.
Suokone equipment is known for its durability and efficiency. Equipment developed for the harsh conditions of peat production and a short but intensive production season, as well as the experience gained, was quite logical to transfer to other sectors, such as tillage and road maintenance.
